ROBOCON at MIT Academy of Engineering (MIT AOE)

MIT Academy of Engineering (MIT AOE) is going to  organize the national robotic contest ROBOCON every year in association with the Doordarshan (Prasarbharti). 

ROBOCON is India’s one of the most celebrated academic events which receives participation of teams of many premier institutes across India. The winner of the national ROBOCON gets an opportunity to represent India at the international ROBOCON event organized by Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU). ROBOCON began in 2002 and today has earned great popularity among the engineering students and institutes of India.

Doordarshan and MIT AOE Alandi, Pune is hosting National Robotic Contest  on 3-5 March 2016 to decide India’s participation in the international ROBOCON 2016 to be held in Bangkok, Thailand in August 2016.

All students are hereby informed that college will remain closed from 22-25 October 2015 because of Dashera and Mohharam (including Sunday and Fourth Monday). 26 October 2015 will be working day. Departmental Oral/Practical exams will start from 27 October till 31 October 2015.

On 3rdNov all eligible students will undergo the following process,

1. Pre-placement talk by L&T executives @ FAMT Audi.
2. Aptitude Test of an hour and break for assessment and declaration of results (1/2 an hour)
3. It will happen in batches. Aptitude test is the elimination round.
4. All shortlisted students will undergo the Group discussion round (GD)It is a elimination round.
5. All filtered students will undergo paragraph writing. It's a non-elimination round.
6. Summery, Its a day off 3rd Nov.

Only shortlisted candidates will stay back for the process on 4th Nov.

1. The day will start with the technical interview round.It is a elimination round.
2. Shortlisted students will have to undergo the last HR interview round.

The final results either on 4th evening or 5th morning with letter of intent (LOI).

UG:  Not more than 24 years
PG:  Not more than 26 years
Academic Gap: No Academic gap allowed during/middle of the course
[for SSC,Diploma/HSC, Graduation, Post Graduation]
Course must complete in :
UG - 3 or 4 years
PG - 2 years
MCA - 2 or 3 years
Percentages:
SSC & HSC (cleared in 1st Attempt Only), Diploma(if applicable) - 60% & Above OR Equivalent CGPA
